OFFICIAL PREMIUM LIST

PANAMA-PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION CAT SHOW.

The Panama-Pacific International Exposition Cat Show will be held by the Department of Live Stock under Exposition Rules. The show has been given the sanction of the A. C. A. and C. F. A., with due recognition to the registration and exhibition of cats from all countries with special privileges.

A fee of $1.00 will be charged for each cat or kitten to cover expense of caging, feeding, care and exhibition, and will enable it to compete in any class to which it is eligible.

Entries must be filed with the Chief of the Department of Live Stock on the entry form furnished by the Exposition, on or before November 10, 1915. The show room of the Department of Live Stock will be open for the reception of cats on Saturday, November 27th, and until 11 a. m. Monday, November 29th, after which none will be received. Judging will commence at 1 p. m. This show will close on Wednesday, December 1st, at 5 o'clock.

Entries may be made through members of Executive Committee or Exhibits Committee if ample time is allowed for filing before November 10th.

No animals will be received or cared for until the caging fee is paid.

Every cat must be entered in the name of its bona fide owner as exhibitor, and the application for entry must be signed by the owner.

The word "cat " as used in these rules includes both sexes over 9 months of age, and the word "kitten" includes both sexes over 5 months and under 9 months of age. Kittens under 5 months will not be received except in case of mother cat and kittens. The age of cat or kittens to be reckoned from date of birth to November 1, 1915.

C. F. A. sanction does not include kittens, but A. C. A. does include them.

Cats having previously won in the novice class under A. C. A. or C. F. A. rules may compete under Imposition Rules in novice classes.

Exposition Rules do not recognize previous winnings of any kind. All have an equal chance. Exhibitors will receive a number for each cat corresponding to its cage number. Also addressed tags.

Any one attempting to influence or interfere with the Judge will forfeit prizes already won, and such conduct will bar exhibitor from the show.

VETERINARY INSPECTION.

A qualified veterinarian has been appointed as Veterinary Inspector, who will examine each cat before it is caged and disqualify any eat which exhibits any form of contagious disease. He will issue a certificate of health to each cat, which certificate must be shown before the cat is caged.

If protest is lodged against any cat during the show for exhibiting any form of contagious disease, or for blindness, or for being improperly tam- pered with, the Veterinary Inspector will make immediate examination and give his written opinion. If the protest is sustained the cat will be immediately removed from the show.

Blindness shall exclude from competition.

CATS MAY BE WITHDRAWN FOR NIGHT.

Exhibitors may withdraw cats for the night by depositing with the Manager or Superintendent $5.00 each night for each cat withdrawn, together with its certificate of entry. The deposit and certificate will be returned when the cat is returned to its cage, which must not be later than 9 a. m. on the following morning. Exhibitors who do not return cats shall forfeit the deposit and all prizes won. Cats shall not be removed otherwise from the show except on certificate of the Veterinarian, or by permission of the Manager under penalty of forfeiture of all prizes and entry fees.

CAGES AND DECORATIONS.

All cages which the exhibitors desire to decorate must be decorated by the evening of Saturday, November 27th, and be subject to approval of the Chief of the Department of Live Stock. No ribbons or labels to be placed before judging takes place. Separate judging cages will be used. Spratts' cages will be used. Dimensions: Length, 42 inches; width, 21 inches; height, 21 inches.
