BESTWAY 103 - SIRDAR CABLE WOOL RUGS BOOKLET
Sarah Hartwell, 2015

Pages from a 1930s rug pattern magazine in the Bestway series, printed for use with Sirdar Cable rug wool. Unlike conventional latch hooking, cable wool was worked on alternate holes because of its thickness. The patten is shown on a grid with the worked squares marked. This meant the patterns could also be worked by latch-hooking (although you'd have to calculate the weight of 6-ply latch-hook wool) or cross-stitch.
