ALBINO FELIDS

This pink-eyed albino leopard is on display at the Rothschild Zoological Museum, Tring, England. It is possible to make out ghost-markings on the fur; these are more visible on photographs than to the naked eye - this is due to lighting and film being sensitive to particular wavelengths of light.

Pink-eyed albino Asian Leopard Cat (mature male) photograph copyright 2002, Musa Kiana, Chelmsford, England. This is the only photo he has released; his others show it to be a true pink-eyed albino.

This nearly white lynx is on display at the Rothschild Zoological Museum, Tring, England. It is not an albino as it has normal colour eyes, dark paw-pads and dark markings on the jowls and tail. It appears yellowish on film due to the lighting and the film's sensitivity to certain wavelengths of light. The specimen was obtained in Tibet.
